“Being a part of the very first batch in an educational institution is always a very rare opportunity but it always leaves you with a bunch of mixed feelings.”

Hello everyone my name is Aowabang Ozukum and presently working as Pastor in Ao Baptist Church Guwahati since 2006.

33 years ago, in the month of June 1991, when I first stepped into Agape College to study theology, I had no idea where it would lead, but looking back of the years that I spent in Agape College, there are so many memories that come as my flashback and this college has given me unforgettable impressions.

My stay in Agape College was very brief but with a rich experience. And now, when I reminisce about my three years of college life in Agape College was nothing less than a roller coaster ride, full of ups and downs one can imagine, because being a part of the very first batch in an educational institution is always a very rare opportunity but it always leaves you with a bunch of mixed feelings. Sometimes you’ll feel so proud and sometimes you’ll not at all like it, becausethe first batch is always the one which is experimented with!

But experiences was new way of learning, and I resonate completely with this adage“We don’t grow when things are easy, we grow when we face challenges.” Yes, those years were challenging, yet they escalated me on the learning curve and led to my personal development.

It has provided me with some great opportunities which helped me improve myself in every aspect as a student.

The education and experience during the college days has moulded me to shape my career and helped me discover the professionalism within me. I am very thankful and proud to have such a motivating, supporting, and enthusiastic Principal and all teaching staff that have taught me to carry myself through any up hills and challenges of life. Time which I had spent in Agape have become the most treasured days of my life.

I have seen this institution growing and grooming every single day because of highly ambitious and committed faculty. It is their courage, hard work and patience which have helped in producing committed students who have done well in their respective ministries today.

I recall ample of good memories and experiences I had in Agape College. It was a great journey for me and I am wishing the same to our new family members. God bless Agape College ministry.
