Admission Procedures for Academic Programs
General Admission Procedure for Dip.Th., B.Th., M.Div study programs
- Read and understand the instructions and application form carefully.
- Download the application forms from the Download section of the website.
- Attach self-attested copies of certificates, transcripts/mark sheets in order along with the application form.
- Arrange copies of the certificates in order – a copy of 10th/H.S.L.C certificate and mark sheet for Dip.Th; a copy of 10+2 certificates and mark sheets for B.Th; a copy of any Degree from a recognized University/B.Th or equivalent degree certificate and marksheet for M.Div.
- Original certificates should be produced at the time of Interview and registration.
- Send the application forms and other required supportive documents by postal service under registered letter or manually to Agape College admission office.
- The College Admission office will send a notification letter to the applicant to appear for the Entrance Exam and Personal Interview after verifying application forms and other supporting documents.
- Reference letters must be filled and sent to the Admission Office directly either by email as scanned copies or by speed post/registered post by the Referee as mentioned below.
- Church Reference Forms (2CRF as given in the form) should be filled, signed, and sent by Church Pastor/ES.
- Academic Reference Form (1 ARF-as given in the form) should be filled, signed, and by a former teacher.
- Financial Sponsorship Commitment Form (as given in the form) should be filled, signed, and send by the Sponsor.
- Medical Form (as given in the form) should be filled and signed by a registered M.B.B.S doctor should be submitted before or upon the arrival of the student to the campus.
- Personal testimony must be written on the prescribed form (as given in the form) based upon the questions related to your background, significant events in life, the personal experience of Christ, and your involvement in your Church. Also, Write the reason to study the Word of God.
- An incomplete application will not be considered.
- Attach two passport sized photos and one stamp size recent photograph.
Application
The Application forms can be downloaded from this Downloads link. Candidates should submit the duly filled up application form along with the supporting documents prescribed below:-
Supporting Documents (hard copies)
- Attach Self-attested copies of all academic records such as certificates and Mark statements along with the application form.
- Do not send any original certificates along with your application for admission. All the originals are to be produced at the time of registration.
- Attach self-attested copies of Identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, Electoral Photo Identity Card or Driving License, etc.
- Self-attested copy of Baptism and church membership certificate on Church Letterhead.
- Reference/Recommendation letters: (a) Two reference letters from the Church (b) Academic Reference.
- Financial Sponsorship Commitment form.
- Medical certificate from a recognized M.B.B.S doctor in the prescribed medical form.
- A personal testimony must be written within 250 words (typed). If handwritten, two pages.
- Evidence (bank transfer receipt) of application fee (non-refundable).
Entrance Exam
The Entrance Exam’s scheduled date will be duly informed to the applicant comprising of Bible Knowledge (2 hours), English language – its grammar and written expression (2 hours) and General knowledge (1 hour). After the entrance exam, the Admission committee will notify the students who have passed the entrance exam to appear for an interview.
Interview
Candidates who have passed the entrance exam will be called to appear for an interview at the college. Candidates who have passed in the interview can be given admission on the decision made by the admission committee and a confirmation letter will be sent to the candidate.
Residential Regular Programs Admission Requirements
Master of Divinity (M.Div):
- The applicant should be a born again believer.
- The applicant should have a minimum of 21 years of age.
- The M.Div is a 2/3 years study degree program.
- The applicant should have completed BTh with a ‘B’ grade/ Any University Degree.
- The applicant should have a clear call to the ministry.
- The applicant should pass the entrance exam and an interview.
- All the certificates submitted for the admission should be genuine.
Bachelor of Theology (B.Th)
- The applicant should be a born again believer.
- The applicant should have a minimum of 18 years of age.
- The B.Th is a 3 years study degree program.
- The applicant should have passed Pre Degree/+2 or its equivalent.
- The applicant should have a clear call to the ministry.
- The applicant should pass the entrance exam and an interview.
- All the certificates submitted for the admission should be genuine.
Diploma in Theology (Dip.Th)
- The applicant should be a born again believer.
- The applicant should have a minimum of 17 years of age.
- The Dip.Th is a 2 years study diploma program, which is a link program to B.Th.
- The applicant should have passed H.S.L.C /10th or its equivalent.
- The applicant should have a clear call to the ministry.
- The applicant should pass the entrance exam and an interview.
- All the certificates submitted for the admission should be genuine.
Master of Arts In Holistic Child Development (MA-HCD)
- The applicant should be a born again believer.
- The applicant must be 24 years of age or above.
- MA-in-HCD is a post graduate degree program which can be done by a candidate with B.Th. or B.A or its equivalent.
- This stream is offered both in the residential & by distance mode.
The degree program is accredited by IATA.
Financial Information
To meet the college expenses, each student is required to pay the fees to the college which can be paid in two equal installments (first in June, second time in November). Students are required to find their sponsors who can help to cover the expenses for their studies. Sponsors can be parents, your local church, and any mission organizations.

Partial Scholarships
Agape College does not provide scholarships as such but depending upon finding possible donors, the college provides limited & partial scholarship on the following criteria:
- Poor and needy but academically bright students from the 2nd year of any study program may seek-work-for-scholarships, provided the donors are made available to the college.
- In any case, a deserving student needing scholarship should submit a written application explaining their situation.
